SO HERE’S THE DEAL.
I’m 22 years old and a recent graduate of Saint Peter’s College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (with a second major in Asian Studies) and I hope to get into journalism. The purpose of this blog is to help me get started with online media.
HERE’S WHAT THIS BLOG IS ABOUT.
I feel like lesbians are a demographic often ignored by the media. There’s a lot of stuff for gay guys. There’s a lot of stuff for straight people. So what’s left for the girls who like girls? Especially those of us who don’t fit into the stereotypes?
In the spirit of sharing unheard voices, I don’t want to leave anybody out. This blog is just my thoughts about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness–from a voice often left unheard (a pretty awesome voice).
SOMETHING YOU WANT ME TO TALK ABOUT?
Tell me! I’m open to questions, suggestions, and ideas! Leave a comment!
PS: If you think I’m awesome, give me a job!
Great blog. I love your honest writing style!
Hello, I’m a staff writer for College Magazine in the Sex & Dating section and I am working on a story about various college LGBT groups and their goals, given that our current monthly themes include coming out, self-love and confidence. I saw your response on our twitter feed, and was wondering if you’d be willing to comment in our upcoming story? You can email me at crystalb@Bu.edu.
Thanks so much for your time and I hope to hear back from you soon.
